Back in January when the Lexington was immenent, word got out it was configured for the Coral Sea. I started researching then on how to backdate it. Today a major step has been completed with the arrival of the Yankee Modelworks backdate set. SHAZAM !!!!!!!!!!!!! It is super-detailed with many resin replacement pieces, white metal gun tubes and a really nice PE set. The instructions are extremely well detailed with gerat drawings and written exactness. Wonderful job YMW you got it right the first time !!!!!!! NOw all I need is for Iron Shiprights to get the F-2-F Buffaloes and SBU Vindicators released.

I did get your PM. I hit the delete key instead of the response key OOPS but I think I can do what you ask, however I won't be starting the kit until December as it is my planned build for the Flattop campaign, so hopefully by then, the planes will be in the box with everything else. Right now, I'm finishing up a tank (T-34/76 project) and an airplane I started before kicking off the Dreadnaught campaig with a 350 scale Bismarck.

Hi Steve!
I am aware of our kick-off start date
I thought that would be interesting to have a full list of AM stuff + References that a modeler needed to make Lady Lex to the late 30's look
hmm, this sound strange, a Lady in her late 30's :-)

End of

Regarding the photo coverage, it would be a next year task...4
Also understand the "stress" with other models
But... give it a thought!
Some pics, description, where to find it...
