Howdie shipmates
Here is a link for a tv- commercial for the navy days in Zeebrugge, Belgium this weekend.
Although it's in dutch, it provides some nice footage of the dutch submarine Zeeleeuw (click on videoclip).
For all the Belgian members, if you've got the possibility, go and see the " defensiedagen". It's a nice day out for the family.
you can visit a lot of vessels ( I haven't got the full list of expected vessels yet), and there is also a simulated tank-attack, and demo's by the seakings from the coastguard, and normally also an attack simulation by an a-109 Agusta helicopter. (was so last year)

Hahaha, wonderfull video
"Wat zij die Belgen nou weer aan het doen"
Everyone who speaks Dutch and knows about the jokes the Dutch make about Belgium has to love it
And don't worry, I like Belgium...they just need to do something about their roads and roadsigns lol (every Belgium but especially the Dutch members probably know what I'm talking about now)
Btw, I should have a pic somewhere from myself as kid at the Navy Days, firing with a MAG light machinegun. That was really cool......maybe fun to post it at the big A

Thanks Björn (for making me old)!!!
I was in Zeebrugge for Belgian Navy Day back in 1987
Almost twenty years ago

It was very funny (in 87) and I was glad to see that they still have an Base Open Day

Once again, Thanks :-)
