I am building Hellers Bismarck and need some help.
I am stumped as to painting. Should I glue the hull together and then paint it before I do anything else. This is what my dad did and he said it worked.
Or
Should I put it together first and paint it later. THis doesnt make sense to me, there would be to much fuss with the little parts and overspray.
Thanks!

Hi Chip!!
You can make a mix!
For the Hull and Deck you can put it together and paint it.
For the Superstructures, Turrets, Funnel, catapults and Arado seaplanes you can make sub-assemblies, and treat them as so. You have to check what delicate parts need to be painted in advance - study the instructions and check which parts will be un-accessible once assembled and paint them first.
Don't be a stranger and if need further help... you know where to came!

Chip why don't you hold off a bit working on the kit. On 1 August we kick off the Dreadnaught Campaign and it sure would be neat if you join in. We'll even give you a beautiful campaign ribbon when you are doe.
