Just line those suckers up and hit them all in one pass with the old airbrush and your favorite shade of gray.

German, American, British.... makes no difference. Just make sure you don't display them next to each other and if anyone asks tell them it's the bad lighting

Also saves time and cuts down on the cleanup.
