Ahoy Jiri!
Although late to DDD, I understand perfectly!
I was browsing your update and your work and I have to make a bow to the level of detail you have made!
Really enjoyed the care and attention to details in areas that will be almost completely covered - the pressure hull and all the details you have put into!
You are making a great model and please don't disappear for such a long time
Drop by once in a while and keep us updated on your progress - I am really looking forward to see it!
Keep safe
Skipper

Hey Jiri
Looking at all the detailing you did on this sub, only one question pops up in my mind:
When will you fire up her diesels for a testrun??????

Impressive work so far, and I bet she'll be a beauty when she's finished.
Please, like Skipper asked, keep us updated more frequently, as I'd like to follow your progress on this kit.
keep up the good work!!

Jiri,
Your pressure hull is outstanding! In my opinion, it looks just as nice if not better than the aftermarket version. I hope you will consider writting up an article on your build. I think people could benefit from it who have 1/72nd VIICs waiting in the wings.
Hope you will consider it.

Wow, I agree, that looks as if it's almost ready to fire up the diesel and steam out to the Atlantic. I can hear the theme tune of 'Das Boot' playing in my head..

Amazing work! I'm anxiously following along. The upper pressure hull looks fantastic.
I am surprised, however, with all the specifics that you are putting into this model, why you didn't correct the height of the attack 'scope housing? It looks a bit short to me. Otherwise it looks very nice.
Keep up the good work!
Take Care,
Jess

I can't hope that mine will turn out so nice...
Jiri,
Did you solder the brass railings? However you assembled them, do you have any tips or suggestions? I would like to do the same for mine.
