Here is a photo of my Dreadaught stuff.  I have the Mini hobbies (Academy) Bismarck in 350 scale  You can see I have the Toms general and the White ensign deck photo etched sets.  I have a set of super close-up photo prints to aid with detailing and underneath all this is a 190 scale poster print as a painting guide.

Nice  resources ....
the pictures will undoubtably be very helpfull, as will the big painting guide...
this  will be a interesting build to follow.
What is the bright orange plastic stuff on the toprighthandside?
And big poitical question: will you paint the swastica's on the deck?
Is this a single piece or 2 piece hull?

Been looking at the shops for just the right kit and just today ogled my brother Iowa class battle ship that was built in its latest jlife before decomisioning

Nice choice for an entry...I hope to get a wide variation of types, classes, and nationalities for entries, just so we all can discuss and learn more about these big beauties...keep me posted on your progress, Bro!

The orange colored thing is actually the way the camera flashed off the Tom's brass set, as to the swasticas.  I dug some up from an old 48th scale bomber set I had.  I'm in the US , so I don't have the political restrictions on me.  The only decision is whether to paint the surrounding area red or gray.  I've heard arguments for both.  I'm going with the red border most likely.
