Hey guys...just curious, what kind of finish do you guys put on your ships, flat, semi-gloss, gloss? All the years I've built ships, I never asked.

I use a semi-gloss, but I also temper that with a flat in places where there would be fade and or scouring action. Now, keep in mind I'm no nautical expert, it just seems.....right. I guess it's whatever floats your boat....so to speak.

Hi Subhunter
Considering the scale effect - and specially if we are talking 1/700 - they should be flat...
If you display them on a water dio, them some gloss can be put on the wet areas of the ship
