Hey Guys,
Is this a good model kit? Looks so cool! Has anyone know if this aircraft carrier seen any war action?
Thanks for your help!

Did you pick one of those up in May. Squadron had them at half price. I've seen the kit and it is comparable to the Nimitz / Essex in quality. I just had absolutly no discresionary income back then or I would have picked one up. If you can get it for $125 or less....go for it

Someone from our local IPMS chapter brought one to our meeting last week (the contest theme was "Russian Night").
Impressive looking when built up. I've heard it has the usual Trumpter fit issues, but nothing that can't be overcome. For more pictures of the kit built up, check out the "Briefing Room" page on our clubs website:

Hi Martin
Your club Kuznetsov looks great, as does the USS Enterprise and the Type XXIII
Your Lexington you already know
Thank you for sharing,
Skipper

Thanks guys for the great help!
I got all pumped up after visit Blaster's "plastic pleasure dome" :-) . Blaster's aircraft carriers are truly magnificent and I can wait to get my hands on a set... This Soviet carrier seems to be the easiest one to build (? )
Anyway, I still have the Queen Mary 2 to build...
