I like the display base also. I've seen people display kits that way, but this looks like it's included in the kit. 1/700 scale? I'd have thought it was bigger than that.

Picture 14 is a good way to show how not to use a hobby knife.. looks like a trip the hospital for stitches wont be long in coming..

This kit also include a full color photo step by step CD, reference photo, PE, stand, and can be build as full hull or waterline (can be switched when built).

That helo pad looks awful small, especially with that Phalanx mounted nice and high behind it. Not sure I'd want to land on that even on a calm day.

Like the display stand and the kit looks well done but 700 is not my scale and I am not into Chinese Navy
