Hello Guys!
Happy new year to all!
This is my version of the HMS Victory!
I painted it in other colours that the one we were used to,cause i want to make a dio of it representing a common ship in a little towns harbor of that time!(Castle, houses, tavern, blacksmith, dock, church e.t.c. all in 1/160)
Of cource it will take me a lot of time to finish the whole project(maquette) but it's worth the effort!
Well here's how it looks!

No weathering has been made yet!
The white box in which i placed the ship will be the sea(painted and resin poured)!
Well let me what you think!!

I think your Victory looks good so far, you said it's 1/160 scale how big is that , should look good with the water, also who makes this kit i may try to get for myself.

Kind of a neat idea not painting it the Yellow / black of the Victory It does give the impression of being another ship. A very novel idea on how to do a waterline. Saves that risk of screwing teh kit up by slicing off the bottom of the hull. I LIKE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boss was looking over my shoulder while I was looking at this. Even a non modeler was impressed. Color me doubly so, because I have some idea as to the work invovled.
