Hiya all.

Looking for some help. I am looking for more info on the ISE in her post 1944 BB/CV configuration.

I am also looking to buy a Gakken Pacific War #26 book onthe ISE/Hyuga, but no luck tracking one down so far, any help...?

I have my kit started and I am fast on my way to adding some extra detail to spark up the old Hasegawa kit (not the re-tooling). Got new AA guns, got new Aircraft, and I got the PE. I must be insane. :-)

No you're not !!!!!! That kit is 30 + years old. Anything you can do to enhance it is great. If you looked at the Chinese do it better thread in the ship section you can see how far one guy went to upgrade his kit.

The Gakken book I am looking for was published in 2000. Here is a link to what I mean:

Review of Gakken Book

Anyhow, I have a MARU book of the ISE, but unfortunately it IS old and has very little in the way of detail shots of the BB/CV version. RIght now I am trying to figure out what to do with the fantail area, so far as wether to add a rudimentary interior for the hanger or to just "button it up".

And thanks for the encouragement, I really need it! (Man, ships are hard! :-) )
