Jess, I was wondering if that could be done. Take a bit off of both the compartments and the pressure hull so that they would fit into the single outer hull. Would be alot of sanding to get that done, but the results would probably be spectacular!!!!
If you remember who it was, let me know via email ( [email protected] ). I'd love to hear how much fun they had doing it!

@ Doug,

http://stores.ebay.com/Great-Adventures-Hobby_Submarines_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm

The guy is: greatadhobby

I will post some pics from my boat with the compartments in taken from above so you can see if the pressure hull would fit. You can compare with pics from the other link i gave, modelsbymickster ore something.

Im considering now too to place the upper hull (but cant find it in europe) cos i also have PE deck. Tsss it doesnt stop...
Thanks alot

@ Dougyes i admit, it should be possible to put on the upper pressure hull, but you'd also have to cut away parts from the compartment(s) as you can see.Just asking myself if it is worth it, you almost cant see it when the deck is on.

No, you really can't see much of the pressure hull once the deck is on. You could open a hatch or two on the deck to get a glimpse of it.

From the pic it looks like you would have to shave down the bulkheads to the top of the compartment. The upper pressure may sit right on top with a little sanding.

BTW-here's a link to to Ship Chat where a guy, Mike K., explains what he did to fit the upper pressure hull atop the CMK compartments.
