I'm planning on purchasing one of the three König-Klasse kits.
Did anyone build these ww I beauties? Any pro/contra's

Have one, haven't built it but it looks freakin fantastic in the way oversized box - you'd think you were gettin an Enterprise CVN in that box.

The only immediate annoyance I've noticed is that the instructions are a tad vague as to application of torpedo net booms.

Like any 1/350th ship, could benefit from PE bits. It's a full-hull kit BTW.

Google against it, there are several mini-reviews around the net on war ship boards.

I'll try and rustle up the links I have and post later.

I've seen a couple of built ones and I know there is a nice PE set for it. I think you'll like it

I've built the kit twice. Both times I added both GMM and WEM photo etched as well as WEM's earlier fore mast. This you need if you plan on having the torpedo net shelves. They are nice kits indeed but you need to fiddle with the fit every now and again. If I remember correctly the vents on various superstructures gave me fits-these are like louvers and each slat is fit in place individually.
