Most of you probably know this already but for us new guys:-
Need a reference photo - check out

This is the Imperial War Museum web site and contains lots of useful reference pictures.
I had been looking for photo's of British LCA, LCVP and LCM 3 without any luck. There are about 300 plus on Landing Craft many with speccific designations.
Lots of Shermans and tons of other stuff I haven't had time to look at.

When I visited London in 1975 the number one thing I wanted to do was hit the Imperial War Museum. I was greatly dissappointed that I couldn't look at their archives of photo's which were reserved for scholars. Now I can
