Nice update. This is going to be a really cool project. To bad 1/3 of it will be underwater.

What did you use for the "X" stitching on the round part of the pontoon?

Thanks for reacting all!
The stitching is cut from mosquito netting (is this right?) you know the mesh used to keep those flying bugs out. Cut at 45 degree angle to get an series of x's. handle with care because they're hardly attatched to eachother (if this makes sense )
