Jim,
I've noticed a few icons showing up on the right hand side of the screen for ship model / parts vendors. Good work or since this is a naval site, I guess
BZ is in order!

I love that we have so many sponsors as all those pretty little advertisements are click on direct links to them. saves a lot of time hunting through magazines and doing web searches to find goodies you need for your builds

Personally, I think it's
FANTASTIC that our new home is generating interest amongst the vendors so soon! It not only generates income to keep the site in operation, it also provides a definite service to the users and like Steve said, the links are
MUCH more convenient than searching for a supplier...(and they also look pretty cool!

Umm....well to be honest (and fair). The 4 shown right now are getting some free ad space for the moment. But Steve Decker of Trident/Midship Models has promised his support for the site and I am sure many of the other manufactuers and vendors will as well once they are officially approached (or find the site on their own). Considering our just starting out status, I think the site is showing a lot of promise.
Cheers,
Jim

Maybe this will soon change (for the positive)...
It would be interesting to feature some of the main Warship manufacturers and Major Shipmodeling Shops here

Jim, I have a question. On another site I hang out at they have a link to Amazon on their site. Apparently when you go to Amazon from that link that site gets some kind of fee when anybody buys from Amazon. I've wondered if Armorama, or Model Shipwrights has any kind of similiar arrangement. I know that other site doesn't have evern remotely close to the as many active members as we have here. I know I'd buy all my books through Amazon, if the Big A or Model Shipwrights got a cut.
