Das Sturm Boot!

I like it Mondo.....would be great in a river crossing dio. With rounds splashing up geysers of water around it...yeaaahhh..that would be cool!

Hi Mondo!

Welcome to MSW
I really like the way you have painted the out-board engine, put some oil spils there

I am really looking forward to see it finished - and to see the water! What are you planning to use?

Crew will be deployed soon. Still under gloss coat. Got me some lifesavers from Billings boats and a spool of rope.

Water? Are you kidding me? Nope. I'm displaying this with a stand baby. I've made one out of styrene. I was surprised DML didn't give us this option in the sprues.

Sorry, water is still out of my league.

Cheers,

mondo

I like the finished product Mondo, it's too bad you didn't model it in a Dio, but I also understand why you didn't. Either way it has came out looking really nice.

Best wishes
Steve

As an aside, I wonder how many men and how much equipment they could jam into one of those before they became unstable? And then try to cross a river under fire........

I'm leaving Saudi Arabia in a month or two, moving back to the Philippines. I've been packing my models like crazy. I don't want to do anything difficult now.
