US Navy Ships
This is a new one on me but it's going straight to the favorites page.
The title of this thread reminded me of the USN basic resource as far as the sailors is the Blue Jackets Manual, which is a pretty handy book to have around. I found a copy from the 70s in a thrift store the other day. It's just a cool book to have around.

I like the NAVSOURCE.ORG site as it goes way back and has some real nice pix of the ships. I have only used it to do BB's and AC's, but it covers all the types. Probably not real usefull if you want up close and personal shots, but does give the group specs and a photo of the actual ship.
