Didn't I hear somewhere that PitRoad was helping Trumpeter out with it's molds? The intro of the two new amphibs would make sense then.

Actually the cooperation between Pitroad and Trumpeter is a "little" longer than just the Nimitz
Remember the CV-2 Lexington, Mont Whitney and it's variants (ship class and updated programs)
I think it is a very positive partnership, most of all usefull for us modelers

I'm sure you meant 350 scale rather than 35 on those japanese AA guns. They sure look great. If I ever decide to do the Yamato again I'll probably get a set of those
