Well Hello Luciano!
I wondered where you went to, mate!
I'm glad that you're back, and are getting things back on track again, and I'm also sorry to hear that you must withdraw from the campaign...are you aware of the special rider that we voted on to let the late finishers complete their kits for a ribbon?
It's still in effect, you know, and if you wish to still be involved with this campaign, then get busy, my friend! Hope to see you more around MSW!
Cheers,
~Gunny

OK, mates...
Getting a little worried now...
Almost 30 days into the special extension of this campaign, and not much happening on the late finishers...what's going on with your builds? Talk to me, ye salty dogs!!!

~Gunny

Well, the Dreadnought is done, so I'm going to try and work on the Amagi again. All the filling, sanding and priming is done, so the next step is the first coat of paint on the hull.

I'll post some pictures once I get a chance to break out the airbrush....

Sounds great, Martin!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with her, mate. I really enjoy seeing your builds, you are quite an artist!
Cheers!

Kind of you to say, Gunny. Now stop, or you'll give me a big head!

Hull and flight deck are primed and ready for painting. I'm going to paint the hull in it's camo scheme first, then paint and add the guns tubs and other parts after the hull is done. I think it will be easier to mask off that way...

EDIT: I deleted the pics so I could add some new ones. See post below.

Well well, Mr Quinn,
I've been wondering when you were going to appease my curiosity!

Looking forward to seeing more, my friend, keep me posted!

Okay, so now that some home renovations that got out of control (replacing a few windows became a much bigger job) is done, I should have some time to get into my hobby room and maybe actually FINISH some stuff, including my flat tops campaign straggler...

Amagi has paint on her. The hull (in need of touch up) is basically done, next step is to mask and continue to paint the flight deck...

Very well, Mr. Quinn,

I still have one or two campaign ribbons laying around!. . .

But seriously, Martin, glad to see that you still want to finish up, and I'll be looking forward to seeing your progress! Get busy, mate!
