Hmm, interesting. Does anyone know whether there's a kit available of the Israeli Dvora missile/gunboat?

Well David,
I've never seen one, mate...BUT, with the proposed length of this campaign, what about trying out a little scratchbuilding, sailor!?

Here's a link to the Louisiana Digital Library. This is the Higgins Industries collection. It has a lot of technical drawing of all the Higgins craft.

Can I enlist without kit in stash and may change number of entries or subject later? We have about 8 months before the start of campain and a little more than 2 years before the end of campain. Manufacture's new releases, if there's any, may affect the decision on subject and number of entries.

Hi Mark

I am very keen on this campaign I will probably enlist in the next day or so. I will look at my current unfinished stuff on my workbench committ to completing it and look at having a clear desk for April 2007. It will be my catalyst to get some stuff from a long time ago finished.

As you know I just love the E-Boats or S-Boats and I have the S-100 and Airfix E Boat in the "dockyard" awaiting construction. I think I will do the Airfix one first and provide Rui with the build article as promised and others seem to also have it and so it may be of use to many of the others who frequent here.

In fact you are probably wondering why I have not signed up!

Cant have such an awesome campaign fail due to a lack of support.

As you probably suspect in reality its a formality my name will be on the list by tomorrow.

Regards

Sean

Yessiree, Steve! You can enlist now or anytime that the campaign is going on, but right now we need participant numbers up on the "enlisted" column, to help to get the campaign approved.

Thanks for signing up, Steve!
And this is a note for all that may be reading this, just because you sign up for a campaign, does not mean that it's sealed in stone that you must finish it...you can always back out at a later date in case the workload is too much. So if you think that you may want to participate in this future MSW Campaign, why not enlist today?

Hi Mark

How are we doing for numbers?

My message (tongue in cheek) is simple visualise the click of the ships intercom system, the crackle and hiss and in a suitably deep, booming and authorative voice:

"Ahoy crew. Listen up, gather around. Message for all crew members. Lets get in behind this great campaign, lets not let our leader Gunny down and lets make sure we make it happen. Enlist now. There will be no exceptions.
Message over and out"

Regards

I like your style, mate!

Sean, we should have enough interest in the build now for an approval, but I sure would like to see a triple digit number of entrants! We have a bit of a wait to go, and I'm sure as modelers find out about the campaign, more will enlist...pass the word on to all your modeling friends!

This Campaign is a GO!

Remember, there is a long lead-time before is launches - the Campaign Leader can always decide to amend the start or end date if you all desire!

Campaign Approved...................OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!

Gunny,
Might I suggest you move up the start date to whenever folks want . (Or wallets allow !) This way, folks can start the "hunt" now, or whenever. Just a thought...........................Bruce

Hi Bruce!

We try to have only one (two tops!) campaign(s) running at a time here on the salty side, for the sole reason of, is that our model subjects just take more time to build than a T-34 or a 1/16 figgie...I tried to plan this campaign to begin in the middle of Leyte Gulf Campaign, and directly after DDD2 (barring extensions!). That's primarily why the far off start date, mate...personally, I'd get er going now, but we have to keep our heads!

My wife would probably say "friends" there is an even more novel thought .LOL

Hey you guys are my modelling friends or as we call them here in little ol New Zealand "mates".
