Sorry but I only ever airbrushed them. However I used ordinary white spirits to thin them and found that worked well for me. YMMV of course!

I too have only airbrushed, but if they are like the Humbrols of days of old, they brush on well. Just remember to clean brush often and stir paint up every once in a while if you are painting by hand for 10 minutes or more with the one color.

Hi David!
You're making a grand choice of quality paints with WEM Colourcoats, mate...I've used them both in the airbrush and artist brush, but I've never handbrushed very large areas (like decks, hulls, etc), just areas such as superstructure's, fittings, and the like...They work well, and are quite accurate...Good Luck!

Hi David
WEM Colourcoats brush and airbrush very well!
If brushed probably will need a second coat, but they really make a difference. I use Humbrol thinner with them to thin and clean airbrush
Highly reccommended paints
Hope this helps,
Skipper
