In one word, John, Nobody. . .Steve was a good friend, a good person, and a true artist, who made some of the best products available.
As of right now, there isn't a comparable outfit that is turning barrels for the shipwright, IMHO.
I guess time will tell, though.

Steve was going into business with some one.  They were calling the company wal-nutt productions, so maybe some of his offerings might be taken up.  Also so far Lionroar has done 2 sets (350 SCALE)one for the NOrth Carolina and another for the Yamato.  The NC came in their big super detail kit, but they did sell the tubes for the Yamato separately from the superset.  Trumpeter did one for the Hood.  There was a pretty good demand for them in 350 scale, so I would look for a set for the Bismarck and Missouri coming out fom Lionroar.  Just my opinion as I have no affiliation with any company and I hear the what's new about a week after everyone else

That was with Bill Waldorf. Bill would know more, but he was no C&C guy.
