Does anybody know how many of each type of aircraft was on the USS Hornet CV-12 at Leyte Gulf? None of my research has brought any results.

Hi Kenny,
I got this info off of SteelNavy.com
The whole article by John Sheridan can be seen at http://www.steelnavy.com/essex_data.htm#Data Sources
It has the vital statistics of all the Essex class carriers. Just scroll down to CV12
I hope this helps.
