Hi Wim!
Which scale size are you referring to, mate? They have one in 1/400 (new release) and one in 1/720 scale. . .I've built the 1/720, and honestly, not a bad kit, but I would go with Trumpeter.

What scale are you talking about?

If it’s between 1/400 and 1/500 I’ve worked on a version of it and it has some extremely bad fit problems.

I don't have that one, Wim, and personally, I don't know of anyone who has built it. . .but honestly, I think that you would be happier with the Tamiya version in 1/350 scale.

Tamiya

Shop around for a good price and buy this one!

I may be wrong on my above post.
Are you talking about Enterprise version Mark posted a link to or the older Enterprise (Yorktown class)?

The one I built was the older. I have no info on the other one.

Hey guy,

I've built the 1/400 scale Enterprise. It's a reissue. Not a bad kit. I would look in to replacing the aircraft with Trumpeter's or Tamiya's 1/350 offerings. I do believe there is a seam in the flight deck, but nothing a little filler can't take care of. It is moulded for the ealier island setup though. You would need to make some modifications to do today's Big E.

That's the key question...which Enterprise? The second is relating to $. If it is the modern, the Tamiya 350 scale is fantastic but probably 3 to 4 times more expensive than a 400 scale

If it is the World War 2 version, the Trumpeter HOrnet is extremely close in appearance in 350 scale and about 2x the price of a 400 scale or so version.

In the states, you can pick up the Tamiya for around $100 and the Trumpeter for around $80. I don't know about any other scales as I don't build them, but an ebay hunt and price comparison with internet hobby shops should be done prior to any model it purchase nowdays. I just saved $35 getting the BR52 off of ebay, but before I bid I knew all the prices from hobby shops as well as shipping costs
