Steve-O, my friend, just wait til you see what's coming in 1/350 scale, mate! I could let the cat out of the proverbial bag now, but I'm waiting for some test shots to accompany the story. . .there's been quite a few 1/700 scale releases lately, but the next few (QUITE a few! ) are in your favorite scale, and quite unique subjects as well!
That's all I'm sayin' for now, Bro!

My Lexington is the same type of Dragon kit. Oh man is it nice. I wish there were more aircraft, but that's what Trumpeter's kits are for. These kits rate right along side with their Premium Edition kits.

I agree completely, oh Gatorious, one. . .DML, IMHO is pulling ahead in the quality of their ship model kits, new subjects, as well as the re-tooled, souped up Premium Edition kits.
Detail, fit, and just overall quality of the molding is laying a standard in injection mold that is increasingly putting Dragon on the top of my "first look" list. . .time will tell!

Lord Gunny you are going to give me an apolexy. I am still trying to figure how to get a Hood, especially in light that I just got that marvelous BR 52. Then to go with it a pe set and two other railcars to modiy to tank haulers. Trumpeter I know is on the verge of popping out their Alabama and now you tell me that Dragon is going to enter the fray. Probably with a bunch of those crusiers we asked for. I wonder if they let you build models in prision. I think I'm going to have to rob a bank

You said a mouthful there, mate! I agree 100% (maybe Ol' St. Nick might bring us a Hood!? )
I myself would like to do the BR 52 as well, I flipped for the kit when I first saw it. . .and by the way, it's not DML that is going to be dumping out the latest 1/350 scale gems, my friend (sorry if I led you astray! ), but another manufacturer across the pond! (I don't know how long I can hold out!!! )

Hmmmm, me gator sense are tingling. This translates to either Hasegawa is going to pop some more 1/350 kits on us really soon (I know which one ) or that Tamiya is finally going to stop putting old kits in new boxes and jacking up the price. Either way, you guys need to order more mask so that I can get me a couple of these new kits. :-)

Naw, seriously, order more mask!

:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

DML CARRIERS.... whats coming.

There is going to be a brand new tooling in 350th scale, of a USN WWII carrier. I am working, with several other good folks, on the plans for that one. Sorry, no name, class, or type can be revealed. No release date.

There will be another 700 scale LATE war ESSEX type released soon.
And probably an ESSEX in an LPH variant., 700 scale.
