Hoovie,
One cannot have too many ship models! :-)
Just add one more to your collection or just trade off something you don't
want and get the Hancock.
Just a thought from a modeller who has too many submarines! :-) :-) :-)
Cheers,
Joe

Is there such a thing as too many ship models, or models for that matter? :-) I keep telling the wife that you can never have enough models. She just looks at me and shakes her head. :-)
Oh well. She's stuck with me and my models. Besides, it could be worse, but that's for another day.

What is "too many ship models" condition you speak of? I hope it's not contagious! :-)

Hi Gator~
Well LOL I do have one Tamiya destroyer!
As for you I will be needing a backdate Lex
mask, and looking forward to a interesting
S-100 mask!
Have you read the "tin can soldiers" yet?
Really gives the real story about Taffy 3!

Backdate Lexington mask? Are you doing the original Lexington and backdating it? Or the Essex class? The original to the best of my knowledge was painted ovrall light grey with the mahagony deck stain until October 1941 when she went in and had all that work done to remove those marvelous 8 inchers to be replaced by all that AA. At that time I know they stained the deck blue, and I guess gave her a darker color. I would refer to the box art . The Essex class version hit the seaways in early to mid 43 and I'm clueless as to color schemes there without doing extensive research, but then again knowing you, you probably already have all this info

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooden deck too, now that is fancy! I've got a set of the new Trumpeter Buffaloes and Vindicators on order from Roll. Glad I didn't glue any of the homemade aircraft down. Now we will see how good my modification skills were when the planes finally get here.
