Still limping through a Russian BTR-80 Personnel Carrier. . .at the final weathering stage now. . .also managed to write, photograph, and upload a new review for MSW (in between major bouts of yardwork, leaf raking, wood chopping, and all other "gettin ready for winter" activities). . .No other benchwork to add though (any benchtime is good time!!)

I know what you mean, mate! It seams like every Sunday is Black Sunday here in the Gator's den. The sewer line backed up yesterday. It's an understatement to say that I would have rather been at the workbench. :-)

Rule #1 - Don't sweat the small stuff.
Rule #2 - It's all small stuff.

Didn’t get much modeling done.

I’ve been helping to set up (and repair) a trailer lately as well as moving stuff to the trailer.
The rest of my times being spent getting ready for winter. Sadly this list has been made longer now that I ran the tractor out of diesel.

We are in YO-YO season here in Dallas. One day it is 80 degrees the next 50 it jumps up and down daily. So my sinuses played havoc with me all weekend. Had to turn the heat back on and I sat huddled under a blanket watching TV and drinking mugs of hot tea. When I did venture to the modeling bench it aws to work on one of those Dragon 3 in 1 251 halftracks. They are nice kits, just too many sprues and each step has you looking for parts on at least 3 different ones and sometimes as many as 5. That is one thing Tamiya does beat them on is easier assembly. Most everything in a step comes off of one sprue or at most 2.

Oh in 2 weeks, Keith is having his one day sale at his hobby shop. For Armorama members everything is 33%off. If it is red-tagged it is even more. HOO-BOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just like a Hobby Lobby sale, except Keith has all the good stuff that Hobby Lobby doesn't stock

Well my weekend started with Saturday at work, which is normal for me. So no modelling on Saturday, which leaves sunday.

With the IPMS show this coming weekend it was all out to get things finished, E-100, Panther D, Puma and CV-3/33 all in 1/72. Well none finished on Sunday but as I have taken the week off I got them all finished today. Tomorrow I will try and finish 2 x F-14A's in 1/144, one of them by Revell the other from Dragon

Which leaves Wednesday to finish a Mk.IV female 1/72 and a Mig-21PF 1/144.

Then its a 5hour drive up to Telford on Thursday for a long weekend and the show.

Ciao
Luciano
