Ahoy mates! What did you get accomplished this weekend? Wink, we really don't want to see anymore photos of you and you sub. :-) I've had a touch of the flu the last two weeks, so the weekends have been a wash for me.

Sound off y'all!

Got the bridge started on the “other ship” in my grandfather ship dio.
Also got some work done on a 200mm bust.

And lastly I knocked the walls off an Iraqi building. (They didn’t turn out well.)

Kenny I hope you get over that flu soon. Take 2 moonshines and get plenty of rest. You’ll feel better in no time.

Ahem... the nearest I got to modelling this weekend was looking at the monuments in Westminster Abbey. Some pretty impressive naval ones, though the effect of seeing someone dressed as a Roman leaning against a cannon is just a little jarring.

Paperwork and "virtual" modeling (getting to be a trend, lately! ), along with Holiday festivities. . .not a bit of plastic was touched on my bench.

Got some more work done on my 1/350 USS Illinois (BB-7)

Also getting closer to wrapping up some older unfinished projects, like this 1/350 USS Gearing:

And...started on a 1/350 Trumpeter Sullivans, which I'm going to build as Gatling for my Uncle, who served on that ship at the end of WW2.

Greetings all,

Kenny how's the LCP Command and Control coming along? Looking forward to some more pics.

Have been working on the 2nd Bedford GS - Cab finally arrived on Saturday and as I suspected the cargo tray was a little too long so out with the saw :-) :-) :-) Still it's a little further on than it was last week.

Didn't get much done as I was working most of Saturday and Sunday was a washing and shopping day for the basics in life - very boring. Still I might get it prrety much finished off by this weekend and then it's some figure work on the drivers and crew and load for the truck all of which might get done by Christmas.

Cheers

Al

Ahoy Alan. I got the sea blue on it but I have a few spots that need to be reputtied. I've got the .30 guns and pintles working. The flu has kept me away from the workbench the last two weekends. I hope to get back to it this weekend. I'm working on the Chris Craft logo for the base here at work. I'm hoping to have that stencil done today.

Photos as soon as I can...Gator

In the last month or two, I've just kind of done minimal work. I managed to build a light flatcar for my eventual BR52 dio. A 4 barrel 20mm AA gun to go on it. A 251 c halftrack with a 37mm Antitank gun on it. And lastly working on those 350 scale Buf's and Vindy's to put on my Lady Lex eventully. Been looking at the stash lately to try to decide what to build next. So far since April have done a Pnzr IV, an early Tiger, a Panther D, a Leopard2a6 a Patton M48a3,a Lee M3, and a Sherman M4a3. Maybe a car or an airplane just to keep the juices flowing. I really want to finish up that Yamato and then get cracking on that BR52, but before I open up that project, I have to somehow get employed so I don't have to sell the house and move. I figure I can make it until April before it becomes end of the line.

Sorry to hear you weren't too well, hope the flu clears up soon.

Guys, there are some great kits here.

JB the project is looking brilliant, looking forward to seeing some larger pics. Love the ice.
