1/700 Skywave UN Navy Dock and Fletcher DD. I'm not so much interested in the DD, but the dock is interesting. I just wondered how good it is.

wHAT i REMEMBER ABOUT SKYWAVE IS THAT THEY WERE NEW IN THE MID 70'S AND RELEASEING SOME KITS THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY UNAVAILABE. THEY HAD A D-DAY SET THAT HAD LOTS OF INTERESTNING GOODIES. I WOULD SURMISE THAT THE DRYDOCK MIGHT HAVE AN INTEREST, BUT IT WOULD NOT BE SUPER-DIORAMA LEVEL. IF YOU CAN PICK UP THE KIT IN THE $10 - 15 RANGE GO FOR IT. ANYTHING HIGHER AND YOU ARE PAYING COLLECTOR'S PREMIUM

Yep, it's at $12 and change now, with four bidders on it. It's not really something I'd be THAT interested in, but if I could have gotten it cheap I'd have added it to the stash.

One that's interested me too, the price so far isn't too bad. WEM are carrying it for £8.50 and Great Models for $13ish
