Ahoy mates. Well, Im finally getting around to my 1/48 Pearl Harbor "Zeke" and I wanted to pose her on the deck of the Akagi. I cut down 1/2" pine boards to .2" square stock. I mixed the up and pulled them at random and glued them down on a plywood base. I'll wrap it with some beautiful poplar I have.

I am always admirative with some good wood work - i am doing a base right now and filling the gaps with some miliput.. very good balance you have got, i love those broken lines
