Well after waiting a week the nice Fedex Lady dropped off my type IId uboat model. To bad it was intercepted by my girlfriend first. It never fails. It looks pretty good. There are a few air bubbles in the main hull, but nothing to bad. No Limber holes at all. I think thats what they are called. No deck detail either. The top portion of the hull is about 1/4 inch to long. And the top half of the hull is a bit to narrow for the bottom half. But hey its the only 1/200 scale Type II I've seen so it will have to do.

Well...when ya gotta have it, ya gotta have it. Don't know much about these, but if the deck was wood covered, that solves one of your problems and a dremel with a drum sander probably can solve most of the rest. You need a good challenge once in a while just to keep your juices flowing
