Hey guys I’ve got another question on what colors to use.
I’m doing my IJN Zuikaku Carrier in its Camo paint job and wondering what the decks on the front and back under the flight deck would be painted.
Should they be deck tan, another solid color, or have the same camo as the flight deck above them?
Thanks.

I would think they would either be gray painted steel or that reddish brown linoleum. Look at the texture if it is metal looking (which I would expect) or if it has a cross pattern running side to side and somewhat wider than wood woud be.

There metal I believe.
Would they still have the gray paint on these parts with the green camo pattern on the ship?

Ahoy Jacob. I would say paint the deck gray. It's not something that would have been see from the air and need camo.
