An old Revell tugboat.

Still a ways to go.

Hi RD

Long time no see
Are you going to use the red/white/black scheme?
It's a rather interesting model, even tough it's a old one
Keep us posted

Yup, red and black. Much like everywhere else.

I've been dealing with broken rails since the stock is an old one. I'm trying to fashion them from stretche sprue and wire. I'm also using brass ladders from Billings Boats though they're not showing here yet. As well as extra life - round thingies once I find the appropriate size. This kit is out of scale.

Looks good so far, I loved that kit when I was a kid. Growing up along the Hudson River, I saw them everyday.

There is no scale mentioned in the box. Only length. My camera is on loan so I got now new pictures yeet of the improvement done.

It's a one peice hull construction BTW so I tried it out on the tub while taking a bath. Needs ballast to make it steady.

Still in drydock. Work is slow. But hell, it's a tugboat anyway. So go slow.

Actually, I had issues with my airbrush.

Sorry, my tugboat build ran out of steam. As you can see in the background, I have an attention span problem.

This is still not done. I've yet more rigging to do. Still glossy etc.

I'm not sure if I should scratchbuild the netting that's supposed to be in the bow. The one in the kit is awfull. Besides I broke it.
