Greetings all you submariners,

I picked up a copy of Military Modelling today and there is an article about Andrea Minitures and a cut away model of a WW2 German U Boat complete with crew.

Only one picture but it looks like a really cool model.

Perhaps Gunny might have more information. It's quoted as a 'special' for Dec 2006 and Andrea's UK supplier, Historex Agents, will only be taking special orders due to the cost.

Sure does look cool though.

Though someone might be interested.

Cheers

Al

Ahoy Alan,

Thanks for the info.....yes I have seen this offering by Andreas....Beautiful! ...but
the price must not be so beautiful.....

For that kind of money, I will probably consider all the CMK modules to do a
cutaway u-boat.

Cheers,
Joe

It's only the conning tower control section. It is in 35th scale. But given the cost of Andreas stuff, not even on my radar screen.

Ahoy All,

I just followed Gunny's link to the Andreas site.

U-boat command section and tower.......unpainted.....1070.00 Euros

Painted......1300.00+ Euros

Didn't realize it was so expensive.

If I were a rich man...... :-)

Cheers,
Joe
