Ahoy mates.
Man, it's good to be home. At 4:30 Saturday morning, I had to pay a visit to the ER which led to a brief stay in the hospital. It seems tha my blood pressure medicine cause a minor bout with pancreatitus. For those how haven't had this or don't know what it is, imagine having a railroad spike driven through your chest. They kept me off meds and solid food for a day and a half and when my pancreas levels got back down to normal, I got to go home. So, back to the bench!
Kenny

Dang that sucks.
Glad to hear everything turned out fine.
Now I’ld ask you how you know what having railroad spike driven through your chest feels like but after hearing of the saw incident I don’t know that I want to hear the answer. :-)

Familiar with your pain. My daughter just went through that, ended up getting her gaul bladder out instead.

Yeah, it did give us a scare. My grandmother passed away due to cancer in the common bile duct. All the test showed no stones so it wasn't the gallbladder. I don't drink so it had everyone a little stumped.

Hey guys, here's the latest. I just got back from the doc's office. He took me off my blood pressure meds (which caused the problem to begin with) and told me to check my blood pressure regularly to make sure it was still REALLY GOOD! Yeah! He wants to check my pancreas enzyme levels in 3 weeks and then go from there.
Thanks for the well wishes. I know they all come from the heart.

Man, leave you alone for awhile and this is what happens. I'm glad you're ok. Take care of yourself bud, we're not getting any younger. Glad it's working out ok.
Hey, this Doc didn't tell you that you couldn't eat anymore Cajun dishes did he? If he did, you need a new doctor. :-) Obviously a quack and a Yankee.

We joke, but Sunday night's supper was fried catfish and french fries. From the cafeteria no less. :-)

Jacob asked the same thing. I would tell you guys but it has to do with my ultra top secret job with the parish government.
I'd tell you, but then I would have to kill you.
