Hi guys,
Thanks to everyone who helped me out last time about my inquiries of boats in 1/35 scale .I had some luck!!..Just recently via ebay i came across a 1934 Dutch fishing boat in 1/40 which i'll be posting here as my dio plan progresses.
Cheers,Shay .

Hi Gunny,
Well to be honest, i'm still waiting on the the fishing boat, should be arriving sometime next week.
Unfortunately the seller doesn't own a digital camera but sent this pic which closely resembles the boat. However it has only one triangular sail, and some closed decking.I will probably have to do some scratchwork to bring it to life.

I'm busy planning out the possibilities of the dio,but the general idea will be a German officer trying to smuggle his booty of paintings etc. through liberated territory.Unfortunately for him he made a wrong move and ended up bumping into some Partisans alongside a canal..
The rest of the dio elements can be seen here on this link to the Benelux site .
Cheers,Shay

Nice way to blend subject matter. Sounds like this will be a diorama worth a dozen or so pix. We'll expect to see them too!!!
