1/350 "The Ironclad" Series

The sale schedule will be end of June, 2007.
Price including Japanese consumption tax will be 8,130 yen

No.2 IJN Heavy Cruiser Chokai 1942
The sale schedule is undecided.
It will be the same price.

It is being written over the table on this page so :

This is a series of the vessel model of 1/350 scales. The series name of "The Ironclad" means an ironclad that appeared in the 19th century, and in the following age, it became the foundation of the modern naval forces warship. In this series, the vessel from the past to the present age is defined as "Ironclad". And, we will produce it with the 1/350 scale.

I heard about this awhile ago and really hope it happens. It's really strange as these two subjects are 2 of the long lost ships that ICM were going to release years ago.

This would be great news to everything but our wallets. Here is hoping very much that will come to pass.

I look forward to seeing new releases. It's nice to see a boom in 1/350 scale. It is disheartening though when a company does announce something like this and then postpones several times the release. I wonder if they realize that we're getting a little gunshy of the model company that cried "new release." I don't get excited anymore til I see it in the store.

My 2 cents.

Well, with the "immenent" release of the Alabama and the announcement of a couple of Takao class crusiers, this is a fine time to have a job....and to be doing about 10 hours of overtime a week .

I really hope this will get released.
I just love Japanese ships. And 1/350 scale too.
