Ahoy mates!

I'm looking for a drawing of the PoW's camo? Does anyone have it?

Sorry Gator,

Only things I have are a photo of HMS Howe in 1942 and HMS Anson June '45.

Ciao

Kenny,
Is this another mask coming along?
Let me check my refs. I may have some but they're pretty small and in black and white with different pen strokes denoting colours from the old 'Warship' quarterly pictorial that's more than a few years old.
I currently don't have a scanner so maybe I can photocopy and send them via surface mail to you, and then you can enlarge them at your end.
Hopefully I can get around to that by the weekend. (or try and find a scanner I can use and then transfer them via E:mail.
Can you remind me somehow on Friday just in case.
Tom
P.S.
I haven't checked for a while but I'm sure there are port and starboard views.

It sure is Tom. I know that the PoW is a popular subject and I figure to start off my Royal Navy section with it.

One step closer! I've found the article I was looking for (Warship vol III)
It shows POW 's camo as in July 1941. Port and starboard views.
Now I'll try and find a scanner or get them photocopied.
Working on it!

Kenny,

Check out this website: http://www.forcez-survivors.org.uk/

Click on Prince of Wales, and at the top of the page, you'll see drawings for the PoW in her final camo scheme.

Doh! I've got this site booked marked and forgot I had it.
Thanks for the reminder Martin.

Tom, I can still use the scans. That way I can compare the two and get it as accurate of a drawing as possible.

PoW's camo scheme consisted of 6 colors as originally applied:

MS1, MS3, B5, B6, 507C, and White.

By the time of her loss, however, the MS3 had been painted out.

We have all the colors accurately matched and available in our Colourcoats line of enamels.
