Hi Everyone,

I have been reading a bit recently, OK, OK I admit it was mostly looking at the pictures and have to ask if anyone has any information on models of WWI U-Boats, I know of the resin U-35 by " Blue Water Navy" and once heard talk of Vac-Form WWI U- Boats, Has anyone here got any more information.

Thanks in advance

PeteV

Ahoy Pete,

The only other that I know of is the U-35(WWI) scale 1:72 by Combat Models.

Last I heard.......it is still available approx. 60.00USD

Basic vacuum kit..... zero detail........everything has to be scratchbuilt!

Cheers,
Joe

Thre may be one in 400 scale from that POlish copnay Mirage. They make a bunch of U-boats and I think their Type II is similar to a WW1

HI Peter

I recall it was you who wrote "DULCE ET DECORUM EST PRO HOBBY MORI" (o.k. related to an aircraft, but anyway) and if I may add "OMNIA VINCIT LABOR"

I have a friend who works on the waterline version, but is not much advanced either....

Honestly, I am not much knowledgeable about the ship model market but as I read your question I instantly thought of the WMM kit.

Good luck with your hunt and the build

best wishes

Steffen
