I know one guy in the local club who is really waiting for this one. As much as Steve is waiting for the Alabama. I really can't wait to have a modeling room big enough for 1/350 ships. I've got so many on the list I'll get.

Halfyank,
I took over my garage as my hobby/display room. My cars are old enough to stay outside on there own....LOL! I love it when 1/350 ship models come out. The battlewagons (battleships, cruisers) have always been my favs.

Don't know what differences there are btwn the Big Mamie and the Bama, but you can bet that I'll have them spelled out within a week of the release of this one.

Best info I have is the Mamie had heavy boat cranes on either side of the rear superstructure. The Bama didn't. Mamie also had more 40mm guns than 20mm, Bama the other way around. The Mamie had 40mm guns on the forecastle, and B and C turrets, Bama didn't.

There are probably more, but that's what I've got.
