The Royal Netherlands Navy Multi-purpose (M-Class) or Karel Doorman Class frigates were built by the De Schelde Group in Flushing and have been operational since 1996.
They are equipped for anti-submarine, anti-air and surface warfare roles. M-class frigates have supported anti-drug operations in the Caribbean with the US Navy, UN operations in the Adriatic and regularly participate in NATO exercises.

Schelde Shipbuilding of the Royal Schelde Company, based in Vlissingen in the Netherlands, has built the Rotterdam class Landing Platform Dock (LPD) ship for the Royal Netherlands Navy.
The Royal Schelde Company was awarded the contract to build Hr Ms Rotterdam (L801) in April 1993 – the ship was launched in 1997 and commissioned in 1998. In 2002, the Royal Netherlands Navy ordered a second Rotterdam Class LPD, HrMs Johan de Witt (L801).

De Zeven Provincien Class (LCF) Air Defence and Command Frigates, Netherlands
Royal Schelde have built four De Zeven Provincien Class guided missile carrying fast frigates for the Royal Netherlands Navy. The air defence and command (LCF) frigates were built at Royal Schelde's Flushing shipyard. They replace Tromp class and Jacob van Heesmarck Class frigates
