Aoshima Models has announced the upcoming release of their retooled 1/700 IJN Carrier Unryu. This release comes with a host of upgrades for the exterior and interior.

The new Unryu kit features a full hanger deck along and a clear flight deck to show off the ship’s attack aircraft and Ohka suicide planes.

Retail price is approximately $40.00 USD and will be available in July of this year. Aoshima is also producing a photo etch set for this kit.
