The 1980's version of the HMS Hermes has finally been released by Orange Hobby and it looks to be a great kit!
With the 30th Anniversary of the Falklands War, many kits have been announced and released in plastic... but, Orange Hobby has given us a very cool kit not offered in plastic.... the HMS Hermes Aircraft Carrier.

This kit is resin and for a price less than $90.00 this kit is really a winner. The kit includes a full set of Photo Etch Set and Decals specifically for the Hermes, 12 page (6 front and back) black and white instructions, and of course several resin parts sprues. The hull does have the square casting plugs along the bottom common to Orange Hobby kits. This kit is Waterline only.

The kit includes two Sea Harriers and two Sea Kings. Orange Hobby does offer more aircraft as aftermarket items so that the modeler can have as many as desired.

The HMS Hermes is available in the USA for $79.95 at Free Time Hobbies
