A new class of modern Russian destroyer is in the works!

Zvezda continues it's trend of introducing new subject matter in popular scales boasting all new tooling with this upcoming release. Following in their current pattern, they will be introducing the ship bearing the name of it's class with the Sovremenny. The first of a long serving line, she was decomissioned after a service life of just over a decade that ended with the formation of the current Russian Navy. The Sovremenny Class still serves with the with both the Russian and PLA navies.

The "Sovremenny" class was commissioned in 1980 and several ships of this class are still in service with the Russian Navy.

This kit features:
- Model length: 22.3 cm
- Can be built as full hull or waterline model
- Kit consists of 3 sprues
- Decals for Russian Navy
