The Carlo Bergamini is now available in waterline form!

Our friend Will of Gwylan Models has just informed us of his latest resin kit, a full waterline model of the Italian Marina Militare's FREMM-class frigate! The detail on this new kit looks very crisp and well defined, and it looks like it will be a very straightforward and enjoyable build without the need for extras. My only wish would be for clear windows for the bridge and a clear body for the AgustaWestland AW101 (also known as the EH101) Merlin.

Carlo Bergamini is the lead ship of the Bergamini FREMM class Italian frigates. This general prupose frigate is armed with SAAM Aster 15 missiles, Teseo Mk2 anti-ship missiles and the Milas all-weather weapon system along with various other weapons and electronic defence suites. This class will replace the Maestrale and Lupo class frigates currently in service with the Italian Navy.

This kit features an all resin hull and fittings sprue, a complete brass photo etch detail fret and a sheet of waterslide decals with accompanying assembly instructions. Includes one AW101 Merlin helicopter with photo etch rotor details.
