Here's a mid-summer update from MSW's own Kenny Loup, owner, operator, and artist of Gators Paint Mask!
News just in to the MSW news-desk, a big update direct from the bayou, featuring Gators Paint Mask's July News additions!

Details;

New reusable insignia masks!

After much research and product testing, GPM has now made their aircraft insignia masks reusable. We have started using a slightly thicker vinyl that will withstand the rigors of removal. Another important component is the addition of clear application tape to help the stencil keep it's shape while peeling it off. After the paint is completely dry, place the application tape on the masks and rub down. Now carefully peel the mask away from the model and place it on the backing paper. Now it is ready to use again! Just peel the application off after applying the mask.

Website Galleries are up and running!

Our customers now have a place to show off their work using paint masks. All customers are encouraged to send in their photos for posting.

New Releases

Gator writes:

"June's release of the deck markings for the Imperial Japanese Navy carriers at Midway is, unfortunately, still in progress. Due to some unscheduled time off, I'll be back at it and have them up on the website by the end of the month."
"For our August release, the quick and deadly Torpedo Boats will be the subject. I will have camouflage for the American PT boat, the German E-Boat and the British MTB."

For anyone not familiar with these paint masks, do check them out at the company's website, you will definitely enjoy the experience! And additionally, for a tutorial of how to use these masks, straight from the Gator's mouth, check out Kenny Loup's feature tutorial on the front page of Model Shipwrights Scale Modeling Magazine!
