A new kit by Combrig is in the works. This time an Imperial Russian gunboat that fought in Russia's war with Japan.
The Gilyak is a gunboat launched in 1897. She was specialy built for operating in Chinese rivers. Her fate came with Imperial Russia's war with Imperial Japan. On August 12th, 1904, she was sunk in Port Arthur harbor in shallow water by Japanese army field guns. She was then blown up by her crew on February 1st, 1905. The Japanese later salvaged her wreck.

Combrig describes as the kit being designed using 3D modeling and CNC machines with photoetch.

No formal release date has yet been announced.

Combrig also has a rather large list of kits described as 'nearly completed' and many may be available 'winter-spring 2015'.
