Coming soon, a resin kit of the US Navy's first submarine.

The USS Alligator is the first known U.S. Navy submarine, and was active during the American Civil War. The first American submarine built in the Revolutionary War era, was the Turtle but the U.S. Navy had not yet been founded.
Flagship Models describes the kit as:
Our kit will represent the Alligator in her first and earliest known configuration. Powered by human strength and paddles, the Alligator was designed to sneak up on its prey and dispense a diver to deliver a torpedo (mine) by anchoring it into the hull of the ship.
The Flagship Models kit will be dead on accurate and designed from actual Union drawings. It will be highly detailed right down to rivets in her hull.
Flagship tells me they are still working the kit and it should be ready soon. As we get more details of the kit and release date information, we'll report it here.
There's a good chance this is the Lone Star kit being re-worked as Flag Ship Models purchased their molds sometime ago (Thanks to 'Dr Yo' over at Starship Modeler for the information).
