A re-release of figures sets in 'on patrol' poses for your large scale torpedo boats.
Italeri has re-released two sets of crew figures for their 1/35 US Navy PT-Boat and Kriegsmarine Schnellboot kits (Nos. 5613 and 5603).The figures are dressed and posed in on-duty positions so your boat can be depicted as being underway or in action. Italeri had released a previous set of US PT-Boat crewman suited more for an 'off-duty' setting.

The first set (No. 5606 ) is of 10 US Navy PT-Boat crewmen.

The Schnellboot set (No. 5607) also includes 10 figures.

Both sets are listed at the Hannants on-line retail site for £14.99 ($23.08 USD) plus shipping.

Possible detailing with DML helmets, heads, etc and with a little modifications several figures could crew the Revell UDT boat by replacing (or not) the two kit figures. Having spent 20 years in the Navy I can attest to the many jobs on small craft while underway. One could also modify one or two figures for Beach Master figures along with beach landing scene as many sailors went ashore with the Army and Marines! Just some ideas.

Great idea John! Always good thing when a set has even more uses than was intended!
